On Saturday 9th November, Chichester Quakers are hosting the annual Peace Lecture, this year by Tim Gee who is a Quaker, a London based writer, political activist and author of “Why I am a Pacifist”. He has written for the Guardian, New Internationalist, Independent, worked for Friends of the Earth, Christian Aid, and Quaker Peace and Social Witness. Refreshments from 5.15pm at the Meeting House. This will be followed on Sunday by the laying of a white Poppy Wreath for peace and a Quaker silence at the Litten Memorial Garden. All welcome to both.
