CDC’s Draft Climate Emergency Action Plan, which sets out how it proposes to achieve its targets to reduce carbon emission across the district is now open for consultation/feedback.
It is not perfect – but it is a step in the right direction.
We are hosting a Zoom meeting to discuss the plan, our reactions to it, and to solicit input and ideas from XR Chichester members (and anyone else who would like to come along), about how we want to respond to the consultation and how we can engage with the on-going development and implementation of the plan.
If you can come, don’t worry if you haven’t read the plan. We will give a short overview and some initial reactions!
Whether you can or can’t come, please fill in the council’s survey on the plan,
Both the plan and the survey are available at https://www.chichester.gov.uk/letstalkclimatechange
