SECA Annual Gathering

The SECA Annual Gathering will take place on 21 January at the Brighthelm Centre, Brighton, BN1 1YD, with the theme Making Local Democracy Work for the Climate. It’s an exciting opportunity to meet in person and re-energise our campaigning for the New Year.
We’ll consider how existing structures work in delivering climate action, how to scrutinise them, and what alternatives such as Citizens’ Assemblies can offer. We plan an interactive session to share what SECA members have learned about different campaigning tactics, and we’ll hear from current councillors on how their councils have been influenced by citizen pressure.
