Anti idling events: Whyke Road on Wednesday 24th July 8.30-9.30am; and at the main railway crossing on Thursday 3 – 4pm.  Hi-viz jackets and leaflets provided!

Meeting with Gillian Keegan – 29th July 4-5.30 in St Pauls Church Hall. This is now an open meeting. There’s a meeting at Valerie’s to plan effective questions on Thursday 25th at 10.30. Please email Valerie in advance as space is limited for this (vbriginshaw@talktalk.net)

News

Toni Mcgloin, a beekeeper and swarm collector came to discuss the Asian Hornet invasion – see news item above.

Farhana Yamin (who glued herself to the Shell building in front of shareholders) has agreed to come and talk to us.

Following the meeting with Colin Hunwick last week. he has already secured an agreement from the College to create wild meadows.

Lavant School has sent 18kg of worn out plastic writing implements for recycling!

The Clevergreen festival in Brighton was a great success – Diana is already planning for next year.

The Bognor hub (see Zero Waste page for details) has set up a food co-op.

Debbie attended a councillor conference in Stroud.
