UKOG is planning to start drilling on the IoW – object before 24.7.20

With your help, we kept UKOG out of Markwells Wood but now they want to
drill the Isle of Wight.
UK Oil & Gas PLC (UKOG) is an ambitious oil and gas exploration company who are applying to start drilling on the Isle of Wight.
Last year the Isle of Wight was awarded UNESCO Biosphere Status. The Island has a range of internationally, nationally and locally important nature conservation sites. Some species are unique to the Island or are thriving due to the protection given to them by the Solent, including the red squirrel, dormouse, various bat species, Glanville fritillary butterfly and early gentian.

This beautiful island should be protected, preserved and enhanced, not polluted by dirty oil drilling.
If you do anything today to help make a positive difference, please take a few minutes to object to UKOG’s application.

DEADLINE 24th July, 2020.
