UK Oil & Gas plc put an application in on 20th December when everyone was too busy with Christmas with the deadline for objections being 30th January (4 days time).
This is a site which has been previously drilled with limited commercial success. The deadline for yet another extension at the Broadford Bridge oil site is 30 January. UKOG removed all their equipment from the site last year, and it may be that they are applying for the extension simply to avoid the cost of restoration. They may also be trying to put a positive spin with their shareholders, who have watched their share value spiralling downwards. Objections need to be submitted to WSCC. Follow the link.
