We are all about community, so here’s a way to give or receive help during the current pandemic. This organisation co-ordinates mutual aid groups nationally, and there are already groups in the area, including Chichester and an umbrella West Sussex group on FB. Search for your area and ‘covid mutual aid’ on FB to find the most local one to you. The website above has a search function, but this may not be updated as quickly as groups are set up, so FB is currently better

The WSCC Covid volunteer sign up appears slow in effectively responding to potential volunteers … automated response but nothing helpful received by my Wife nor me.
I also signed up very early on to the Phil Wilson promoted Facebook Covid Support Group.
