It’s happening! Chichester Car Free Day will be going ahead on 22nd September, as part of World Car Free Day. South Street will be closed for the afternoon and there will be be activities for all between 12.30 and 3.30. More information to come, but please put this in your diary and support our very own event highlighting the numerous benefits of going car-free —including reduced air pollution and the promotion of walking and cycling in a safer environment.
The World Carfree Network says that the World Car-Free Day can be a showcase for just how our cities might look like, feel like, and sound like without cars… 365 days a year.
