Virtual Film Screening of “Kiss the Ground”– stabilising earth’s climate

Tuesday 12th January from 7pm to 8.30pm

“A quarter of all the animal species on Earth live beneath our feet and provide the nutrients for all our food.” The Guardian 5th December 2020

Fairer World Lindfield, in collaboration with Cockhaise Farm, is screening the compelling and inspirational film, “Kiss The Ground”.

This powerful film demonstrates how our relationship with food and farming directly impacts the planet as a whole. By regenerating our soil we can fight climate change, create abundant food supplies, strengthen local economies, promote biodiversity, restore ecosystems, build community, and heal our bodies.

Narrated by Woody Harrelson, Kiss the Ground is a groundbreaking film that reveals a viable solution to our climate crisis. Using compelling graphics and visuals the film illustrates how, by drawing down atmospheric carbon, soil is the missing piece of the climate puzzle.

Of course, we are not all farmers, but many of us have gardens and allotments. In these difficult times, this movie offers a positive and achievable solution that shows how we can take climate action as well as secure the future of our species.

After the film, Dan Burdett from Cockhaise Farm in Haywards Heath will share his vision of how farmers and local communities can benefit from regenerative agricultural techniques.

If you’d like to book a seat at this free virtual screening please REGISTER HERE. Your ticket will include access to the film as well as the optional session afterwards with Dan.
