4-5 Dec - Zero Carbon Britain course:  spaces are still available on the next course run by the Centre for Alternative Technology, in Macynylleth in North Wales.   Join Zero Carbon Britain Research Coordinator Paul Allen to explore: How we can provide a reliable energy supply for the UK with 100% renewable energy sources; How the vast majority of the food we need for a healthy, low carbon diet can be grown in the UK; The key barriers to change, and how we can overcome them – offering a range of other benefits along the way. It costs £140 (including shared accommodation). For details go to the website

Join us for the ‘election rebellion’ to help raise awareness of the climate emergency and encourage people to make it the key issue when they choose who to vote for.
We’re planning a series of activities throughout the day including a mock election and ‘forest of truth’ (come to find out more).
Bring you banners, noise and passion.
The candidates have been invited: Jay Morton (Labour) and Kate O'Kelly (Lib Dem) have confirmed attendance. Gillian Keegan (Conservative) said she couldn't attend at this time. Come and learn whether they agree that December's general election must be a climate election.
