Fehinti Balogun, a British Nigerian who had never been involved with the environmental crisis shares what changed for him, and why he got involved with Extinction Rebellion. This talk will be followed by audience discussion. Tickets free book here 6:30 pm: Rumboldswhyke School closure public consultation meeting6:30 pm: Rumboldswhyke School closure public consultation meeting – West Sussex County Council are currently consulting on the closure of several schools, one of which is Rumboldswhyke Infant School in Chichester. Parents and other members of the local community school are campaigning to save it and their petition can be found here. A local school supports the sense of community, removes the need to drive and therefore improves air quality for all. The campaigners have a website with more documents here, and you can read the WSCC Consultation document here. The consultation runs to 25th November, and there is a public consultation meeting at the school on 7th November at 6.30pm. |
