Told by Steve Taylor, our resident herbalist, traditional stories of how to find the golden apple of immortality, and how loving hearts are rewarded.
In best story telling tradition Steve appeals to all, with multi-layered stories. These will be told under the tree with their crops of young apples as the backdrop.
Steve Taylor’s new book ‘The Humoural Herbal’ has been published and will be available at this event. The orchard is grass covered, so wear stout shoes.
Where: Off Exton Road, Whyke, PO19 8FT
Tickets are £5 or £3 for children from the Novium.

Emily Sabin (Bumblebee Conservation Trust) will show us which bumblebees live here and talk about their life cycle. Hope to meet the teddy bear bee, the Common Carder. All abilities of spotters welcome included supervised children to our 9 year old orchard.
Last workshop we found 4 of the commonest 8 bumblebees on a cool day. Come and be surprised at what’s in our locality. The event is on grass, so stout shoes are appropriate.
Where: Off Exton Road, Whyke, PO19 8FT
Tickets are £10 or £5 for children from the Novium.
