Chichester XR has grown over the last month, and this Wednesday (October 23) 6-8pm, we will be having our first evening gathering at Luckes Cafe on North St (Opposite the Coop Bank).
Melanie Luckes has very kindly offered us the use of this space on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month 6-8pm.
This will be a perfect opportunity to welcome new members and catch up with fellow rebels. Whether you are just interested to see what it's all about, or you're a seasoned Rebel, please come along.
This Wednesday we feel it would be a great opportunity to reflect upon the rebellion and to start thinking about how to maintain the momentum in Chichester.

Born out of a passion for recycling and reusing and the love of finding a bargain, this simple idea is one of Transition Chichester’s big successes. There are no rules to our quarterly Swap Shops and no money changes hands. It is all about finding new homes for unwanted clutter and keeping stuff out of landfill. People bring whatever they want to bring to our events, held in various venues around the city, and take away as much as they like – all for free!
A Fairtrade cafe, with home-made cakes and bread, and soup from surplus veg, adds to the enjoyment.

The Autumn Beach Clean has long been a staple of every ocean enthusiast’s diary and we're continuing with Summit to Sea. We want to tackle the problem of pollution further upstream and highlight the direct link between all UK towns, villages and cities and the ocean around us.
The scale of this clean - the biggest across the UK – will provide us with vital data to inform the Governments decisions on a new deposit return scheme. We will be able to specifically show the range of bottles and cans ending up polluting our islands, which need to be included in a new scheme.
Join us on Sunday 27th October between 10-12 for this great community event.
Other Information:-
Gloves and bags are provided, but please bring gloves if you have them in case we run out!
Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult
